Brunswick Square was packed over the weekend with visitors enjoying the annual Brunswick Festival. This wonderful community and family event gave people the opportunity enjoy entertainment from the children's magician, face painting and the music of the Long Tall Texans and other bands. Relaxing massage, fortune telling, a henna tattoo or hair braiding were on offer. Whether browsing the art, vintage clothing, feathers and furbelows or having a picnic feast on delights from food stalls such as Cantina's wonderful cooking, candy floss and locally grown apples, or a cooling drink from the beer tent, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The gardens were awash with bloom, the sun shone and there was cool shade under the trees - a perfect family day out.
