FareShare Brighton and Hove fights food poverty by redistributing quality surplus food from the food industry to organisations working with homeless and vulnerable people in the community. These photos follow the work of staff and volunteers as they collect food from supporting companies and distribute it to the community. Some of the food delivered goes to the organisation HALO at St Mary's in Kemptown, where clients are served a hot 3 course dinner at noon.
Nothing is wasted, even spoiled food finds a use for composting at the Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and Wildlife Project.
