A singing chef, hearty French cooking, heavenly cheese, good wine and convivial company were the order of the evening as this years Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival's International Chef Exchange [ICEx] took place. Guest chefs Jean Louis Gelin of La Meuniere and Yves Rivoiron of Cafe des Federations joined resident chef Henri Dubus in the kitchen at Jean Christophe and Julia Martin's L'Eglise in Hove to cook for a packed restaurant. Guests included Caroline Lucas MP and her husband, Arnaud Pollet-Thioller and Paul Lenik of Ritter Courivaud [who provided the fabulous cheese board], and James Dempster of Montefiore. The chefs were a big hit - and not only with their cooking - Jean Louis [he of the fabulous moustaches] proved he had hidden talents as he came out to sing for the diners at the end of the meal.
