John Crampton set everyones toes tapping and eventually bodies whirling on the dance floor at The Mesmerist. Amazing that this one slight seeming figure could stir up such a crescendo of foot stomping blues. Slide guitar, banjo and harmonica by turns whipped up a storm of powerful sound round his astounding voice, and really had the place jumping. If you're into John Lee Hooker, Ry Cooder, and Howlin' Wolf get to see this guy when you get a chance. You won't be disappointed!
