Such a close contest in the Rockinghorse Bake Off heat at Kanoti that Real Patisserie's Tom Emms who was judging had to call in food critic Andrew Kay for a second opinion! A fabulous display of mouthwatering cakes on the whole - although there was one that bore a remarkable resemblance to a smoking cinder... Brilliant work from the Kanoti team. The winning cake - a Lime and Pistachio Easter cake was baked by Emma Sarling, who narrowly beat Kerry Grainger into second place after the tiebreak. Competition is definitely hotting up for the finals of the Rockinghorse Great Brighton Bake Off which will be held during the spring Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival over the Easter period this year.
