Despite the grey blustery weather there was an eager audience for some stunning kite flying displays at Stanmer Park this weekend. I managed to catch the tail end of it, but what an end! To the tune of "Spirits in the Sky" a ghostly pantheon of spirit forms took to the air. It must have taken an incredible amount of handling skills in the stiff breeze to keep these huge kites aloft and dancing in the incredible aerobatic display that ensued. Awesome and inspiring!
