ICEx chefs meet food producers: a fishing trip with Mårten Bengtsson on Lake Vänern, and a visit to Mia Jonson, who grows a variety of fruit and vegetables on her smallholding at Lilla Labäck, Lidköping . Part of International Chef Exchange is getting an insight to the culture, local foods and producers in the exchange country. During the visit to Sweden Chef Jimmy Gray of Jeremy’s Restaurant at Borde Hill, East Sussex, UK, created a Sussex-themed meal at Sjöboden Restaurant in Spiken near Lidkoping, as part of International Chef Exchange. Swedish chef Christofer Johansson, will come to the UK in turn to present a meal representing his home region of Läckö-Kinnekulle at Jeremy’s Restaurant in September this year.
