Brighton & Hove Festival of Food and Drink has its fare share of drink related events showcasing some of the best of Sussex tipples. The Beer Festival at the Pub du Vin, with its ales, stouts and ciders was a deservedly popular event featuring local breweries including Darkstar, WJ King and Hepworths, alongside ciders from Wobblegate and Battle. To help soak up the brewed nectar there was the excellent Pub du vin pub grub and barbecue in the courtyard. A mark of its popularity - as closing time approached festival goers had almost drunk the bar dry - there was just enough for a takeaway bottle or two left!
